The sensors appear to be well made and easy to fix. I began to do the setup but the system refused to connect to my dual band WiFi so I was forced to change all my WiFi setup to create a dedicated 2.4ghz guest network. This caused two days of chaos but has actually been a real benefit all round. I should be getting the sensors mounted over the next few days and it will be a relief to have them.

I bought 3 smoke alarms, a carbon monoxide detector, a heat alarm and a remote control. I was pleased they were all pre-linked. Set up instructions were fairly straightforward. The remote took me a little longer to get right but really wasn't hard. The package arrived quickly and was well packed. I used the sticky pads instead of the screws because my ceilings are like crumbly biscuits! Sticky pads were easy and effective. I tested the alarms and they all work great. I like having the remote as it's one button control for all alarms.

I have used link d alarms for a few of my projects... What improvements I would suggest is for there to be a designated button for just programming. (I know it's press and hold and all that malarkey, and sure it's simple... For some, But when you're running around like a headless chicken to try and pair new alarms, gets a bit exhausting. And also when you're at a customers house after office hours and is stuck, then it's an issue)
